November 14, 2016 Penn Del Board Meeting Minutes
C.T.O.: 6:30 by President Berton
Present: Elliot Berton, Bob Heebner Jr., Erik Nelson, Tom Warrick, Mark Fisher, Fred Polaski*, Rick Carson*, & Howard Halern*. * = by phone.
Officials: Fred reported that 4 YMCA's have no referee. Fred also reported that he will make a list of classes that were held this year and suggest that the same sites hold a class next year. He said that three issues need to be clarified:
- Girls suits with strings in the back are NOT legal.
- Place judges should record all six places, not just the top three.
- Tape- referees should use common sense for PD Dual meets.
A long discussion followed on what should be allowed and what should not be allowed. An email will follow with guidelines for referees. A discussion was held about how to put a list of referees, AOs, and MM operators on the web, so that teams in need can go there first for help and the Board second.
Commissioners: Rick reported ALL rosters were in on time. Results of the first week's meets are in. He also stated there were few issues with the first meets. The use of certified AOs was discussed and teams were reminded that teams need to use certified AOs for their meets. Fred reported he would send out a list of prosed officials for the championship meets soon.
Minutes: The September Board minutes were approved as corrected. The Fall League meeting minutes were approved as corrected. The October Board meeting minutes were approved as corrected.
Finance: Pat submitted a financial report with an updated balance. MM reimbursements were discussed. The report was approved as submitted.
New Business: Erik brought up the difficulty of merging MM and TeamUnify meet entry files. Erik said the only way to correctly submit team entry files for MM from teams that use TeamUnify is to bring a merged meet file for entries for the meet.
